Geoscience meets Data science workshop

All the costs for early career researchers and the contributors to attend the workshop are covered by the British Council Researcher Links grant 2019-RLWK11-10487.

Participation in the pre-workshop sand pit will be free of charge for those interested to register and contribute.

Those invited for the 4-day face-to-face event in February in Edinburgh won’t have to pay to attend. The British Council grant funding covers international and domestic travel, 5 nights accommodation in Edinburgh and the subsistence during the face-to-face event, as well as the UK visa fees. All travel arrangements will be made by the host subject to the event health & safety and international travel guidelines at the time of the event.
There are 40 fully funded places altogether distributed between UK and Russian attendees.
